I decided that I needed to get my fill so mountain biking around the Ladybower Reservoir, peak district was the days destination.  About 2 hours away from home it was perfect for a nice day in the saddle taking in the scenery and taking photo's. I headed to the Ladybower Inn car park which was to be my start point because my GPS data was not available to me.. I knew that a track nearby would get me on the right route! I got myself ready to ride and make my way up the first climb of the day. After sitting in the car for 2 hours, the climb proved to be a bit of a challenge..(That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!).

So Easter 2019 is here and the sun is roasting. What a better way to spend the day than riding my  mountain bike around Darley Dale in Derbyshire! After a 1.5 hour drive on our busy UK roads I arrived at my destination with a desperate need to pee. After jumping out of the car and surveying my surroundings, it occurred to me that I needed to move my ass and get ready to ride because peeing was out of the question neither a public toilet nor a well placed bush in sight.....should have gone before I left, bloody coffee!!
